I remembe where and how to check on whether I can upgrade the memory on a desktop, but can't for the laptop. I would like to see whether we can put more memory in my son's laptop, rather than buy a new one... HS is looming, and so is the need for a faster laptop... Andrea

Well most laptops come with only 2 slots for RAm (Memory).
You can check how much RAM he has now by right clicking his My Computer Icon on his dekstop and on the general tab you will see amount of memory he has. Let me know.
Cheers

I have EASA classes Wed. and Thu. (after 4:15 if class ends by 4:15 ) and otherwise after regular school end hours: what would be a good after-school hours time to bring my laptop for that "clean instal" tutoring. Anne wanted to join me with her laptop. Andrea

I think we can either do it tomorrow Friday after 4.30pm or The following week, I'm sorry it's the only time I have.

I'll bring the laptop in tomorrow (Fri, Apr 11) at 4:30 pm and my portable HD.
