yet another puzzle for me:
I have Paint Shop (Jasc Software) installed on my laptop from before creating LUAs. The first LUA created has no problems accessing PaintShop. However, it got corrupted - no internet access - so I created another one. Now this one has access to the internet, but can't find PaintShop (it finds the folder, but not the .exe).
I created two more accounts, and they both have no access to PaintShop.
In addition I have no idea why, created only minutes appart, they have icons in different order and even slightly different after start-up (http://i167.photobucket.com/albums/u126/andreawisc/Nomorefun.jpg) and (http://i167.photobucket.com/albums/u126/andreawisc/JustForFun.jpg).
What decides what programs start up in which LUA account during the creation process, and what programs can be accessed?

Hi Andrea, a few questions 1st.
1. What do you mean by you can't find the program? You could not find it in the Start -> All Programs menu?
2. Can you send me the screenshot via email? I couldnt see the 1st link's photo.
Cheers Faizul

Faizul, I inadvertently solved the problem. Every time I would try to start Paint Shop in a new LUA, I would get the following screen: and chosen any directory in PaintShop would just bring up the same screen again. For watever reason I then just picked some directory in MyDocuments, and the following screen appeared: which I just skipped, as I do not want to register the program with every LUA. But it still leaves the question about what determines the order of the icons and which ones do appear when setting up a new LUA. The first two were set up within 5 minutes, and the order is different, and one is missing the "lock" icon, which is the Parental Control icon for SBCGlobal, now AT&T/Yahoo (although it is AT&T that was bought up by SBCGlobal - I guess no name recognition). To recreate the PaintShop issue, I created another account, and that one has active Norton looking differenly in the tray - go figure - I didn't do anything different from the last time I created the other two LUAs... Oh, and the funny purple icon that looks like a lower case "a" is the modem that always gets set-up to start during startup... haven't found the place to "kill" it yet. Andrea
